Licensed as a Mental Health Counselor for over 18 years, Emily has extensive experience in working with adults, adolescents and families. She is both comfortable and effective working with a broad assortment of patients, from those seeking enrichment and wellness to those in significant emotional distress. While she has the knowledge, skills and experience to help a broad array of clients, Emily has found herself to be very effective when working with adolescent and college age girls and people experiencing anxiety and those dealing with symptoms of depression.

Emily earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida and her Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of North Florida.  She has experience working in large private practice groups, as she was with Baptist Behavioral Health for 7 years then Marsh Landing Behavioral Group for over 6 years.  Emily is now practicing in an environment that is comfortable, very private and confidential.  She has specialized training in family systems therapy and also cognitive behavioral therapy, which is an effective, solution focused type of treatment.
